History, Coffee & Art Networking Walk: Discovering Juárez Differently
On June 6, 2026, FIGHT CLUB CDMX gathered a group of founders, entrepreneurs, creatives, travelers, and curious explorers for something a little different. No presentations. No pitches. No formal networking agenda.Just coffee, history, art, architecture, and the city itself. Our History, Coffee & Art Networking Walk took participants through the streets of Juárez and Cuauhtémoc, two neighborhoods that continue to embody the contrasts that make Mexico City so fascinating. As Tim Cahill once wrote:"A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles."That idea perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
Starting with Coffee
The experience began at a hidden coffee spot in Juárez, where attendees arrived throughout the morning, ordered their favorite drinks, and met fellow participants before setting off into the city. The atmosphere was relaxed from the start.People exchanged stories about their businesses, travels, creative projects, and life in Mexico City while enjoying a slower pace than traditional networking events.
Walking Through History
Leading the historical portion of the experience was Julia Azulejo, certified federal guide and Mexico City expert. As the group moved through Juárez, Julia shared stories about the neighborhood's evolution, architecture, cultural influences, and the people who helped shape the district over the decades.Participants discovered details that are easy to miss when rushing through the city:Historic mansions hidden behind modern facadesFrench-inspired architectureForgotten stories from past generationsUnexpected corners that reveal Juárez's unique characterThe neighborhood reminded everyone why it continues to attract artists, diplomats, writers, photographers, entrepreneurs, and dreamers from around the world.
Art, Creativity & Unexpected Discoveries
Throughout the afternoon, participants visited galleries, creative spaces, and hidden locations spread across Juárez and Cuauhtémoc.Rather than following a rigid schedule, the experience allowed people to explore organically.Smaller groups formed naturally, conversations evolved, and participants often found themselves discussing everything from startups and technology to travel, design, culture, and life in Mexico City. One of the most memorable aspects of the event was the element of surprise. Not knowing exactly what would appear around the next corner became part of the experience itself.
Networking Without the Pressure
One of the goals of FIGHT CLUB CDMX is to create environments where connections happen naturally.Walking side by side often creates better conversations than standing in a crowded room exchanging business cards.During the event, attendees included founders, creatives, locals, expats, entrepreneurs, and travelers who might never have crossed paths otherwise. The result was a series of authentic conversations that felt more like exploring the city with friends than attending a networking event.
The Best Parts of Mexico City
Mexico City rewards curiosity. Some of its most interesting cafés have no signs. Some of its most beautiful buildings are hidden in plain sight. Some of its best conversations happen unexpectedly. The History, Coffee & Art Networking Walk was designed around that idea.By slowing down and allowing the city to reveal itself naturally, participants experienced Juárez in a way that most visitors never do.
Until the Next Adventure
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special edition of FIGHT CLUB CDMX.A special thank you to Julia Azulejo for bringing the stories of Juárez to life and helping us see familiar streets through a different lens. This wasn't really a tour.It wasn't exactly a networking event either. It was a few hours spent disappearing into Mexico City with interesting strangers who didn't stay strangers for very long.See you at the next adventure.
