A Wishing Star: How FIGHT CLUB CDMX Closed 2025
“What you seek is seeking you.” — Rumi
Some nights feel different the moment you walk in.
A Wishing Star was one of them.
On December 10, in a covered venue in the heart of Condesa, FIGHT CLUB CDMX hosted its final networking event of 2025 — and it was more than just a party. It was a moment of closure, reflection, and quiet ambition before the city emptied out for the holidays.
150–200 carefully selected professionals.
One venue, entirely ours.
One last chance to end the year connected — and remembered.
Why Condesa Was the Perfect Stage
Condesa has always been more than a neighborhood.
It’s where culture, creativity, founders, and global minds intersect.
With its Art Deco roots and international energy, it reflects exactly what FIGHT CLUB CDMX stands for:
movement, ideas, and people who don’t stay in one box.
For one December night, Condesa became the backdrop for the city’s most intentional end-of-year gathering.
A Curated Crowd — By Design
This was not an open-door event.
Every guest passed:
Social and professional vetting
Strict guest list & QR-only check-in
A clear standard: relevance over volume
The result?
A room where conversations flowed easily, introductions mattered, and no one wasted time on small talk.
The crowd reflected the city itself:
50% Mexican professionals, 50% international, with conversations in English, Spanish, Russian, French, and German echoing through the venue.
If you were inside, it was because you belonged.
The Verbal FIGHT CLUB: TECH vs BUSINESS
At 19:30 sharp, the room shifted.
Founder Yana Immis opened the night, followed by FIGHT CLUB CDMX’s signature end-of-year ritual:
🥊 TECH vs BUSINESS — Verbal Fight
Two fighters.
Two worlds.
One symbolic closing battle of 2025.
It wasn’t about winners or losers — it was about perspective, respect, and recognizing that both worlds shape the future we’re walking into.
And yes — the audience decided who won.
Energy, Mezcal & Meaningful Moments
As the debate ended, the night opened fully.
Welcome mezcal by Ofrenda Spirits
DJ-led music setting the rhythm
Surprises throughout the night
Interviews and live coverage by Aver Curations
A professional photographer capturing final 2025 portraits and candid moments
People stayed.
Conversations deepened.
Connections formed — not exchanged, but felt.
This wasn’t rushed networking.
It was presence.
More Than an Event — A Closing Ritual
A Wishing Star wasn’t about selling 2026.
It was about entering it intentionally.

Integrated into the wider FIGHT CLUB CDMX community
After 80+ events across 3 years, this night reminded everyone why FIGHT CLUB exists in the first place:
to create rooms that change trajectories — quietly, powerfully, and without noise.
The End of 2025. The Beginning of What’s Next.
Mexico may empty out in December.
Calendars may close.
But the right connections — made at the right moment — carry forward.
A Wishing Star was not for everyone.
And that’s exactly why it mattered.
✨ See you in the next fight.
